It never worked for me. Never got a pin, tried to resend the whole business. Tried it a few times, nothing. And of coarse there's no way to contact them and their condesending instructions make it seem like you had to have made a mistake, their system if flawless, right. Another fine AOL product, bravo!

I'm having trouble setting up Thunderbird to access the AOL My eAddress account that I set up. When TB tries to access the aol server via imap it incorrectly tries to access help@imap.aol.com instead of help@ochdecors.com. I am guessing that the setup in accounts is wrong somewhere.

Hi,
I haven't had any problem accessing the website. But I typically let my mail client pull down the mail and don't access it through the web. Haven't had a connectivity problems there either.

Hi,
Thanks for the information. I will test it to see if it works. Are you having problems connecting to the Aol my
e-address email homepage? I have only been able to check it once, since it was created.
Thanks,
Sam

Sam,
You can't delete an address. You can change the password to keep someone from using it if that's your intent. They do say "currently" so hopefully this would change.

I wondered about this earlier too. I haven't done it, but it seems possible to use the spam filters to handle all email as spam so it would automatically be handled (and deleted) if you didn't want the e-mail to sit there. Set the mailbox to only accept e-mail on the whitelist and have an empty whitelist.

Hi,
I saw your article on "AOL My eAddress" and was extremely impressed. I have a question about that particular domain service. How does one go in and change or delete it soon, (an AOL My eAddress) if it is not used alot? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
