Upgrades - Patches - Please Stop the Madness
It seems like all I did this past week was patch and upgrade. I already mentioned the iWeb ‘08 update.
Microsoft released 9 security updates so it took awhile to patch my VMs.

Microsoft released nine security updates this past Tuesday.
When it came time to run Automatic Update on my Windows XP SP2 virtual machine (running under Parallels) I got 12 updates, so Microsoft pushed more than the security updates. The updates broke down as follows (all links are to the Microsoft Knowledge Base article number listed):

Apple released an update to the still fresh iWeb ‘08. It updates iWeb to version 2.0.1. In typical terse Apple fashion they describe the update as: “These update addresses issues with upgrading and publishing iWeb 1.x websites.”
