FYI - and I&#039;m not sure this is directly applicable to your scenario but might be of interest anyway! - you could turn it the other way around and run full iTunes on your HP MediaSmart server with Home Sharingr.  I happened across an app called iHomeServer that allows you to auto-start iTunes on servers, by running it as a Windows service.

You can then turn Home Sharing on the WHS server and access it as a shared iTunes server from your Mac.</description>
