I enabled CDP for my "hourly" backup soon after installing the update. It didn't work exactly as I expected but the differences didn't affect the actual backups. I also did some additional stress testing to check out performance and this is what I found. Read the rest »

Comic Book Fonts (a.k.a. Comicraft) has long been a favorite of mine and their New Year’s Day Sale has become a tradition. During their New Year’s day sale they sell all their fonts for a penny per year, so this time it will be $20.12 per font. The catch here is that even fonts that normally sell for less are also $20.12, So it worth visiting the site or downloading their catalog (pdf link) ahead of time to view the fonts. Cloudberry has released Cloudberry Online Backup 2.6 which includes Continuous Data Protection. I've upgraded and have enabled CDP for one of my backup plans. I had some upgrade problems with the last couple of updates and tried to clean things up. Hopefully they're a thing of the past. Read the rest »
