What can I say, I find PCs fun. Over the years I’ve installed many operating systems, finding the building and exploration of the OS as enjoyable as the software that’s installed on them. Since I deal extensively with Microsoft at work I have little desire to deal with Microsoft on my own time. So my primary PC became a Linux box several years ago. As I’ve gotten older there are more times where I just want things to work, so I went out and got a Mac Mini for those times. Since then a Mac has been my primary PC for getting things done and I’ve installed Linux and Windows at various times just to explore. The OS Quest is an attempt to chronicle these OS’s and what I do (or can’t do) with them. As the tag line says, it’s a “A Frustrating Journey”, whether it’s Windows, OS X or Linux. The question is, which is more rewarding?
