VMware as released VMware Fusion 1.1 VM software for the Mac. The software now fully supports Leopard. Additional new OS support includes 32 and 64-bit Vista along with 64-bit Windows XP. There’s over two dozen improvements and fixes listed in the release notes.

FileMaker, the Apple subsidiary that has a database app by the same name, has released a preview of Bento, which it bills as a personal database.

Path Finder 4.8.2 has been released by CocoaTech. This release now supports Quicklook when run on Leopard. It can also replace Finder by being the default file viewer when “Reveal in Finder” is used.

I have to admit an unhealthy admiration for two apps that come free with OS X. Both received upgrades with Leopard which makes me happy.
