Transmit 3.6.4 Released

Panic software release a minor update to my favorite FTP client, Transmit. The Transmit 3.6.4 change log contains just under two dozen items listed as fixes and changes. For me, it’s the changes to S3 that are most welcome. While the last update made it usable with Amazon S3 for me, it would still be annoying at times. This release is less annoying. The Amazon S3 related changes are: 1. Transmit no longer stalls the UI when deleting files in S32. No longer have to manually refresh to make deleted [...] Read the rest »

Mac BitTorrent Client: Transmission

Fedora 8 was released recently and I wanted to download a copy. With a DVD size of over 3GB bittorrent was the way to go. The first occurrence was a little over a week ago when [...] Read the rest »

Superduper!: Disk Cloning/Backup For Mac

I’d purchased and used Superduper! with my Mac Mini but when I moved to the iMac I stopped using it. I had used it as a cloner and I didn’t really want to do clones as my primary backup anymore (so I thought) so I switched to Apple Backup. Apple Backup has it’s falts (that’s a different story so see my Apple Backup post) so I decided to give Superduper! another spin for doing backups. I don’t remember if I ever used Superduper! on my iMac but it was already [...] Read the rest »

The immediate answers to that are: easily repeat a search on the Internet after doing a desktop search include a GMail account in the index (but only one mailbox) search and recover deleted documents browser history in the index some other reason that will only be apparent after using it Any e-mail client with a spotlight plugin can also be included [...] Read the rest »
