This weeks quest was almost all WordPress and website updates. It was a pretty complete makeover, from the foundation to the window dressing. As I previously mentioned, I wanted to explore WordPress and web theme design. I really liked my previous theme, Redoable by Dean Robinson, but it needed to be changed to handle WordPress 2.3, mainly due to the changes to categories and tagging. The OS Quest Trail Log #10
I decided to take the plunge and dive into learning CSS. This is in the lead-up to upgrading this site to the latest WordPress, which I decided to do as part of a complete redesign of The OS Quest. Over the past weekend I migrated this site to the Redoable theme by Dean Robinson. I wasn’t looking for a theme to redo this site, but I was browsing through some WordPress related blogs and came across the Redoable theme and it just caught my eye. Website Update – Frustration then Satisfaction
[Updated Jan 20, 2007 - I no longer use Durable. I found that the drop down menus didn't work in Safari so I swapped it out. I went out to the WordPress Theme Tester for Durable and found they didn't work either.] If you’ve been here before you know the site has a new design.
